Kyle heads up a global data science team for the Insights division at Kantar.

Kantar Innovation drives the adoption of innovative methodologies and data sources within the Kantar Insights umbrella of research businesses, which includes Kantar TNS, Kantar Millward Brown and Kantar Added Value, amongst others. His team gets its hands dirty with data and analytics. They enrich Kantar’s data ecosystem through the development, deployment and scaling of machine learning and other AI-based solutions, particularly in the realm of unstructured data. They also empower Kantar colleagues around the world by giving them access to new data sources and analytical techniques.

Kyle is a co-developer of numerous market research solutions, including the ConversionModel (one of the world’s most popular measures of brand equity that has been used by many of the top brands in the world), the FutureView measure of consumer early adoption and in-market influence, and Kantar TNS’ approach to digital campaign pre-planning and post evaluation, amongst other things.

His passion is uncovering what makes people tick and sharing it with others. He has a strong desire to bring the hard sciences to bear on the question of why people do what they do. This passion has encouraged him to delve into specific scientific areas such as neuroscience, network theory and “big data”, producing many award-winning industry and academic papers in the process.
