Kantar launches #WhatWomenWant? campaign

Visit the exhibition in London, celebrating the best of the last 100 years of marketing to women.

To mark the centenary of the 1918 Suffrage Act in November of this year, Kantar is launching the #WhatWomenWant? programme, a brand new initiative to celebrate the brands who have empowered women through their marketing campaigns over the past 100 years.

The focal point of programme will be a dedicated exhibition featuring the most empowering marketing and advertising campaigns and initiatives from stand-out brands over the past 100 years. Held at Noho Showroom in Fitzrovia, the exhibition will be open to the public from Wednesday 21st November to Thursday 29th November.

The campaigns on show will be selected by a panel of judges drawn from the worlds of brand, advertising, and media as well as larger society who have actively established themselves as promoters of equality and the female empowerment agenda, including:

  • Dame Carolyn McCall – CEO, ITV 
  • Jude Kelly CBE – Artistic Director Southbank Centre, and Founder – WOW (Women of the World Festivals)
  • Karen Fraser MBE – Director, Credos & Head of Strategy – Advertising Association
  • Agnieszka Katner – Senior Public Affairs Manager – World Federation of Advertisers
  • Deborah Parkes – Owner, BishBoshBash and Marketing Consultant – Kantar
  • Karen Blackett OBE – UK Country Leader – WPP
  • Leo Rayman – CEO – Grey 
  • Bart Michels – UK Country Leader – Kantar
  • Vikki Leach – Head of Inclusion and Diversity – Kantar

The programme will also feature inspirational speakers, films, presentations, and workshops celebrating diversity and empowerment. The programme will aim to highlight positive brand campaigns and demonstrate that through empowering women, brands become more relevant to consumers, increase customer loyalty, and achieve better long-term performance.
